Context
Google Ads Sales representatives spend much of their time doing, the goal is to create a solution that could streamline Google Ads sellers time to focus more on selling and increase efficiency.
The Problem
How might we reduce the amount of back and forth between sellers and potential clients, so the sellers could spend more time on selling?
Project Goal and Key Metrics
Increase the efficiency for sellers, translating to time saved calculated in the form of headcounts saved
The Challenge
I was tasked with devising a solution that is easily implantable, without altering the sales rep’s behavior while maximizes business results
The Process
We shadowed and interviewed sellers to understand their daily workflow and where time is lost with the most easily addressed solution.
We discovered one of the most time lost was writing emails between sellers and potential clients to schedule meetings that work for both parties with the complexity across timezones.
Google Tooth Brush Test
Something that doesn't take a lot of time each time, but when repeated frequently, the total amount of time amass to a significant time loss across thousands of sellers and hundred thousands of emails at scale.
Design Sprints
I hosted design sprints across Sales representatives and product teams generate ideas, shared early solutions and testing solutions with our primary users
Solution
I created an automated email scheduler within Gmail and to increase the efficiency of the communication between the Seller and potential clients.
